The Freedom Park in Atlanta, Georgia is a 200+ acre park at the intersection of Moreland Ave and North Ave. It is linked to 7 historic neighborhoods and has 8 miles of paths for walking, jogging, and biking. The park is designated as Atlanta's Art Park, with numerous temporary and permanent installations of significant art by international artists. Freedom Park is also book-ended by National Parks sites for Jimmy Carter and Martin Luther King Jr. The Freedom Park Conservancy is a donor-funded nonprofit that works with the city of Atlanta to preserve and develop the park as a vibrant green space and world-class asset to the city. There are playgrounds located to the north and south of the Carter Center. The Carter Center houses the Jimmy Carter presidential library and museum.
