Lionel Hampton-Beecher Nature Preserve is a wildlife sanctuary located in Atlanta featuring dirt and paved trails for hikers and mountain bikers. It is an unspoiled mature hardwood forest and was once used as a trail by Civil War troops. It is home to various wildlife including deer, box turtles, woodpeckers, and hawks. The nature trail was donated to the PATH foundation by the family of the late jazz pianist and vibraphonist Lionel Hampton.
