Rodney Cook Park in Vine City, Atlanta is a 16-acre park aimed at addressing social and economic challenges in the neighborhood, as well as resolving flooding issues caused by increased impervious surfaces. The park features functional engineering features that capture and store up to 10 million gallons of stormwater, creating a community destination for residents of Vine City and English Avenue, who were involved in the park's planning. Rodney Cook Park offers amenities for visitors of all ages and abilities including a playground, splash pad, aeration fountain, market plaza, multi-purpose courts, amphitheater stage and great lawn.
