Standing Peachtree Park is located where Peachtree Creek meets the Chattahoochee River. The site is of historical significance because it was the site of a Creek Indian settlement and trading post and the eventual site of Fort Peachtree during the War of 1812. A replica of the fort was built but it may not be accessible at this time. The park is surrounded by water treatment facilities.
